CORRECTIVE SKIN PEELS

A chemical skin peel is the process of applying a chemical solution to the skin to smooth out its texture. It can be used to treat many skin issues like acne, fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. A form of chemical exfoliation, a peel allows your skin to shed off a layer, making room for new, brighter and healthier skin.  

Traditional peels left patients looking "sunburnt" for days or weeks after a treatment. The peels we use in clinic have minimal downtime; minor redness/flaking 2-4 days post-peel only. These are powerful yet gentle, leading to an immediate improvement in skin clarity and radiance and reduced dullness and sallowness.

These can be used all over the body: Face, neck, décolleté, back, arms & hands. All skin types can be treated including sensitive skin.

Ideally the peels can be repeated  in a series of 2-6 peels spaced 3-4 weeks apart for maximum effect.

After the treatment

You may experience some redness and flaking in the few days after the peel. Te ensure you get the best results we recommend using very  mild  skincare  products  to use for 72 hours after the treatment. 

Depending on the type of peel or number of peel layers performed that day, you should be able to wear sunscreen and mineral makeup the same day or immediately afterwards. Your skin will look its best about one to two weeks after the peel.
